Research on new problem in practicing the Basic Law of the MSAR. Discussion on further development of the theory of "One country two system";

Research on connection and cooperation between Macau and Hong Kong SAR, Mainland China, the surrounding area, European Union and Portuguese language countries;

Discussion on effective administration of the MSAR Government, reform and improvement of public administration;

Research on short term, medium term and long term social and economic development strategies of Macau;

Exploration of the establishment of Macau's cultural business, development of gambling tourism, education of people, environmental protection, social welfare improvement, etc. Further research on long term and sustainable development of Macau's economy, and possibility of developing other business sectors.

Research, conclusion, and promotion of Macau's investment environment, business environment, working environment and living environment.

Authorized by the MSAR Government and private institutes in conducting different kinds of research.

MPRI has some full-time researchers for investigation, research, and some assistants. Our daily affairs are responsible from full-time staff. In addition, we have cooperated, in forms of cooperation and assistance, with other research institutes and specialists in Macau, Hong Kong and Mainland China.

We have a proper research platform. Besides research people with mutual-dimension areas, we also have different kinds of books, documents, articles, reports, newspaper clippings which are categorized. Also, we have a conference room which can contain 10-15 people for forum and small conference.
