MPRI

Macau Policy Research Institute (MPRI) has established in Macau since March 1998., Formerly named as "Notable Policy (Macau) Institute", has been formed by some specialists from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau whose have interest in Hong Kong and Macau affairs. MPRI is the first public policy research institute in Macau which has some specialist researchers and assistants. As the non-official and non-profit policy research and decision consultant institute, the main duty of MPRI is to conduct research on Macau's economic development, social development, government administration, etc., and submits recommendation and comment to the Macao Special Administrative Region Government. Our recommendation has macro, strategic, and long-term recommendation, and also emphasizing on tactics and high value of operation. Since the establishment of MPRI, we have played the active role in promoting the stable development of Macau between the handover period, and began some effective and innovative works. MPRI has assisted the Macao SAR Government in drafting some important documents, articles, and some research reports for reference.
